Climber in his 60s rescued by helicopter after fall from rocks in west Penwith

A CLIMBER had to be rescued after falling from rocks in west Penwith.
The man, believed to be aged around 65, was with a group when he tumbled around 20 foot from Vessacks rocks between Porthchapel and Porthgwarra.
He is believed to have broken his ankle.
The Land's End Coastguard Cliff Rescue Team was sent to the scene at around 2pm on Saturday.
A helicopter from RNAS Culdrose was also diverted to the cliffs from an exercise in St Ives.
The man, believed to be from Praa Sands, was winched into the helicopter and taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro for treatment.
