TWO lifeboats have been launched this morning to separate incidents around the west Cornwall coast.
A crew from Sennen was sent to assist a Padstow registered fishing boat that had broken down a mile from the Longships Lighthouse, just off Land's End.
Called at 4.45am they reached the single-hander and towed it back to Newlyn harbour.
The second call out was from St Ives at around 8am when the team was tasked to help another broken down fishing boat make its way back to shore.
The vessel had lost the ability to steer around six miles off St Ives and was towed back to local waters by the all weather lifeboat.
