A COFFEE morning is being put on this weekend to raise money for a dog who needs an expensive operation.
Rescue dog Kathy, a six-year-old Rottweiler, has a problem with her hind leg and is unable to run.
The charity event takes place on Saturday May 18 at Lower Poltair Farmhouse in Heamoor, outside Penzance, and has been organised for owner Brenda Pryor by Jackie Dymond and Anne Shaw, who runs the Gulval Dog Training Club.
She said: "It's quite an expensive operation.
"We would like as many people as possible to turn up and help raise money."
The event is due to take place at the farmhouse, on Joseph's Lane, Heamoor at 10am until 12pm, and will feature home made cakes, pasties, a plant stall and a raffle.
