A SPECIAL guest from South America will pay a visit to the Royal Cornwall Show next month.
This Armadillo is part of the Newquay Zoo crew who will be exhibiting at the showground at Whitecross near Wadebridge when the three-day show opens on June 6.
Lorraine Reid, event's manager at the zoo said: "This year we have something really special planned - part of our tent is going to be transformed into a mini aviary with some of our most beautiful small birds.
"We are also going to be taking our armadillo, Royal pythons, and bearded dragons, as well as our pygmy hedgehog and some mini-beasts."
Members of the Zoo's education team will also be giving some talks in the Countryside Area Ring, giving visitors to the show a chance to get a little closer to some of the zoo's residents.
