A day of celebration will take place in Falmouth on Friday to mark Falmouth University's title inauguration.
The former multi-arts college was officially recognised as a university at the end of last year.
A ceremonial procession will start proceedings at 3pm from the Moor.
Staff and students will be joined by local dignitaries, including the Mayors of Falmouth and Penryn for the parade.
At 3.30pm there will be a dedication ceremony at King Charles the Martyr Church.
There will be performances and exhibitions throughout the day showcasing students work.
