The Hayle man killed in a road crash on the A30 at Loggans, near Hayle, at the weekend has been named.
Zachary Collins, 38, has been formally identified as the driver of the green XJ Sport Jaguar which ended up on its roof on the Hayle bypass at 3am on Saturday morning.
Mr Collins was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger, a 33-year-old female, also of Hayle, was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske with minor injuries.
The Hayle bypass was closed for nearly 11 hours, while Devon and Cornwall Police's serious collisions investigations unit conducted an investigation as to how the collision occurred.
Fire service and ambulance units also attended the scene.
