POLICE in Liskeard are investigating the theft of a £9,000 dung spreader from a farm.
Offenders gained entry to the farmyard in the Pengover Green area between May 23 and 25 and stole the bright yellow Shelbourne Reynolds machine.
A police spokesman said the spreader was unusual due to its size and colour and the force is appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time of the offence to contact them.
Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered the machine for sale.
