EastEnders star Steve McFadden was among the hundreds of swimmers who took the water yesterday for the annual Castle to Castle swim from Falmouth to St Mawes as part of the Fal River Festival and to raise funds for the RNLI.
McFadden, who plays Phil Mitchell in the soap, is a regular participant of the event, although he had to miss last year due to work commitments.
Supporters lined the start and finish lines to watch the swimmers complete the challenge, which is expected to raise several thousand pounds for charity.
