FIRE-FIGHTERS have just arrived at the scene of a vehicle fire on the A30 near Fraddon.
A fire service spokeswoman said the car is "well alight" and crews are using two hose reels and specialist breathing equipment to tackle the flames.
The driver of the vehicle dialled 999 at around 4.35pm and there are no reported injuries, although traffic is backing up on the westbound carriageway.
Motorists are being warned to take extra care as smoke is reportedly drifting across both carriageways.
