Newquay's very own women's surfing ambassador and Animal Team Rider Corinne Evans has announced another date for her surf tour.
On Saturday, top surfer Evans will be at Errant Surf School in Newquay for an under 18s girls day for aspiring girl surfers. Inspirational Corinne will be on hand to offer coaching and top tips on how to make it as a pro surfer. There are still a few places available.
A full day's workshop costs £50. Participants will get two surf lessons with Corinne and coaches from Errant Surf School, a Nalu Bead workshop, lunch, Animal goodies, lunch and photos from the day. Equipment and wetsuits are provided free of charge if needed.
Evans, 25, is a Surf Life Saving GB qualified Surf Lifeguard and aims to inspire and coach girls and women from across the country as part of her surf tour.
She said: "We've had some really good girls days in Newquay this summer and the surf scene for girls in the area is definitely on the up. It's really rewarding seeing so many girls growing in confidence both in the surf and in themselves over the day."
