A FRAUD investigation has resulted in five people being charged, including a St Austell man.
Les McGirl, age 63 of Southbourne Road, St Austell; Anthony Bodgin, 63, of Melbourne Street in Tiverton; Kevin Wingrave, aged 50 and Lyn McMayon aged 56, both of Periwinkle Drive, Chaddlewood in Plymouth; and Gary Rawlings, 56 of Biggleswade in Bedfordshire have all been charged with conspiracy to commit misconduct in public office.
Anthony Bodgin has also been charged with theft and fraud offences.
They are all due to appear at Exeter Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, July 2.
