A REWARD is being offered to track down a trailer stolen from a Penzance car park. The 20 foot structure, worth around £2,500, was taken from a fenced-in area at Wharfside sometime between May 17 and June 15. Owner Alan Simpson of Simpsons Penzance, is offering a £300 reward for any information leading to the return of the trailer. "The trailer has been down at the car park for two or three years and there has never been any problems before," said Mr Simpson who explained why he was offering a reward. "I can either pay £300 to get it back or £2,500 to replace it." Throughout the winter a boat is attached to the trailer but in the late spring this is moored off the waterfront and the trailer is taken back to the car park. Described as having brakes and a winch, the two-wheel trailer also had black plastic mudguards and was kept in place by a wheel lock. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting crime reference AP/13/14/00.
