A 54-YEAR-OLD Camborne man is facing charges of threatening to kill and possessing an explosive substance following an incident in Truro on Friday.
Christopher Hines-Randle was remanded in police custody after appearing at Truro Magistrates Court yesterday in connection with an incident in the city on Friday when police sealed off part of a business park.
Police went into Threemilestone Industrial Estate at 6.30am on Friday to investigate the discovery of a "suspicious package in a vehicle."
Hines-Randle was arrested in the Threemilestone area on the same day.
A section of the business park was closed off and experts from the Royal Navy bomb disposal squad in Plymouth rushed to the scene.
Hines-Randle is due to appear in Truro Crown Court via video link on Wednesday.
