Two kayakers had to be rescued yesterday afternoon by a lifeboat crew after being blown out to sea off Falmouth.
And someone who went to their aid in a rigid inflatable (RIB) also had to rescued after it broke down.
Coastgards were alerted at 3.20pm and sent a lifeboat crew to the scene.
The pair of kayakers were about half a mile out to sea, unable to paddle back to Swanpool due to the strong offshore wind.
They were taken on board the lifeboat and the RIB was towed back to shore.
