Police are warning St Cleer residents to ensure their garden sheds are kept secure following a spate of break-ins over the weekend.
Officers say four garden sheds in different areas of the village, three miles from Liskeard, were targeted by thieves between 10pm on Saturday night and 8am on Sunday morning.
Items stolen include an electric Bell concrete mixer, six horse rugs, four strimmers, a nail gun and several of drills.
The windows of two cars were also smashed, police said.
Officers believe the offenders would have needed a van or a large vehicle to take the stolen items away.
Liskeard CID is investigating the break-ins in conjunction with a recent series of similar crimes committed throughout the Caradon area.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time or has information to assist the investigation is asked to contact the police by telephoning 101, quoting crime number BD/13/834.
Police are urging residents to be extra vigilant and to review security measures for all sheds, garages and outbuildings.
