A BURGLAR scaled a building in Fowey and stole more than £3,600 worth of power tools.
Police are appealing for information after the thief climbed the scaffolding of a building on The Esplanade which was being renovated.
They got in through a window on the third floor which was covered with a piece of wood.
It happened between 4.30pm on Friday, June 14, and 8am on Monday, June 17.
The burglar made off with £3,688 worth of tools, including a 1CV Makita drill, Bosch drill, Bosch saw, nail guns, a 13v screw gun and much more.
"We would like to hear from anyone with information or who may have been offered power tools fitting the descriptions for sale," said St Austell inspector Stuart Gibbons.
