A HOLIDAYMAKER was treated for shock after a fire was discovered in the bedroom of a holiday chalet in Marazion in the early hours.
Firefighters from Penzance were called to Gwallon, just outside Marazion, near Penzance, after reports of a fire.
Two appliances from Penzance attended the incident at around 4.30am this morning.
On arrival the crews discovered a small fire in a bedroom of a single storey building.
The fire was extinguished using one hosereel and two breathing apparatus.
South West Ambulance Service crews treated the female for shock at the scene.
