A SPATE of car thefts plagued St Austell over the weekend.
An iPod 3 and charger worth £100 were stolen from a black BMW 320 parked on a driveway in Treverrick Road between 7.30pm on Sunday and 6am this morning.
The crime reference is GA/13/1827.
In the early hours of this morning, an MP3 player was stolen from a white Volkswagen transporter van left unlocked in Edgcumbe Green.
Police have a suspect, who is described as wearing dark trousers, a dark beanie hat and carrying a rucksack - GA/13/1826.
Two cars parked at homes in Pennor Drive were also targeted overnight on Saturday.
One was a grey Mazda hatchback. Thieves took £6 in change in a round plastic tub and left the car open – GA/13/1817.
The second was a Mitsubishi Colt, which had a ball point pen stolen from inside – GA/13/1819.
Police urged people to make sure their vehicles are locked and no valuables are left on display.
