Two people had to be released from their overturned vehicle following a road traffic accident at Carthew near St Austell this morning.
The incident happened on the Greensplat side of Carthew just after 4am and the fire brigade said the car was left "in a precarious position down an embankment" as a result.
Crews from St Austell stablised the car before using crash rescue equipment to remove the two people, who were both out by about 5.45am and left in the care of paramedics.
