Chris Harris has been named in Great Britain's four-man team for their Monster Energy FIM World Cup clash with Denmark, Sweden and USA at the Norfolk Arena in King's Lynn on July 15, writes Nigel Walrond. However, there is no place for his fellow Cornishman Ben Barker, who is somewhat unlucky after being in a rich vein of form recently. GB boss Neil Middleditch has opted instead to go with Edward Kennett and debutant Craig Cook to partner Harris and Grand Prix rider Tai Woffinden. Middleditch: "I've gone for experience with Edward rather than throwing in two debutants. I know he can do a job for the team in this meeting. "It was a hard call and congratulations to Cookie, I'm delighted for the lad and I made the final decision based on statistics and when I've seen him. "Riders like Richie Worrall, Ben Barker and Danny King can count themselves very unlucky, but there is an opportunity for me to change things if necessary should we progress to the latter stages in Prague. "It's going to be a tough meeting but I have every faith in my boys to do their country proud and I'm sure we will enjoy fabulous support, as we always do in this event." The other World Cup qualifier will take place on Saturday, July 13 in Czestochowa in Poland involving the hosts, Australia, Russia and Latvia. The winners of the two qualifying meetings head straight through to the final on July 20 in Prague, while the second and third-place teams will go into the race-off on Thursday, July 18, also in Prague.
