Chugging their way through the Cornish countryside, an army of vintage tractors snakes along the byways.
Up to 50 vehicles from different eras took part in the Vintage Tractor Rally at the weekend to raise funds for the military charity, Help for Heroes.
Engines were started up at Lanhydrock, near Bodmin, before the two-mile procession drove to Mount, Colliford Lake and back via Doublebois to Boconnoc House at Lostwithiel, Mid-Cornwall.
For Marcus Vincent, it was the third year in a row he had organised the event specifically to raise funds for the charity.
In previous years, he ran the spectacle to help other charities boost their coffers. Mr Vincent said: "My step-son served as a Royal Marine for seven years and thankfully made it home okay. But not everyone was so lucky so it's important we do what we can."
He described the atmosphere at Sunday's event as "fantastic" and said other road users were extremely tolerant. Mr Vincent said: "We stayed off the main roads but when we did encounter other drivers they were good as gold and made way for us.
"People along the route stopped to wave and cheer us on our way.
"The weather was dry which was a bonus and we raised £541."
