Monkeys at a Cornish sanctuary dumped their usual staple of bananas for fruit of another kind.
Staff at the Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary, near Looe, south east Cornwall, kept visitors amused at Sunday's Apple Day spectacle.
Visitors joined in the longest apple peel competition and enjoyed tours of the gardens the apples grow.
Patrick Saunders, head gardener at site, said: "We have many different types of apples growing in our orchard including Cornish varieties, maybe some varieties people haven't tried. Orchards support a wide range of wildlife from birds to several hundred species of invertebrates and numerous types of fungi."
