A home in Landreath Place, St. Blazey was hit by a chimney fire. However, the inhabitants were fortunate that the fire did not seem to do much damage.
"One appliance from St. Austell was mobilised to this premise, on arrival the crew inspected the chimney and found that the fire was fortunately extinguished," Cornwall Fire & Rescue service said in a statement about the incident.
