FIREFIGHTERS rescued a trampoline stuck on a telegraph pole in Hayle this morning.
A crew was called to Strawberry Lane at 9.15am.
A spokesman for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "The trampoline was blown there during yesterday's gales.
"We used a triple extension ladder and a ceiling hook to move it."
Neighbour Bob Amos, who took this photograph, said: "I am not sure who it belongs to but it must have travelled some distance.
"Interestingly, we lost a large 12 foot, steel framed trampoline in a similar fashion about two years ago. On that occasion it miraculously made its own way 80 metres or so up our drive and lifted itself over seven foot entrance gates.
"Suffice it to say, it was a  right-off.
"Clearly trampolines are susceptible to this sort of behaviour and I certainly would not fancy being underneath one when it decides to land."
