Employees at Cornish seafood processors Falfish have been recognised for their long service at the company.
Falfish is the largest seafood processor in the South West and employs 150 people at its processing facilities in Redruth.
Seven employees, with more than 110 years of service between them, were honoured with awards presented by managing director Mark Greet and chairman Ian Greet last week.
The awards were given to employees who had reached the 10, 15, 25 or 30 year milestones working for Falfish.
Four employees; commercial director Edward Polley, driver Jon Ponder, production operative Sharon Morris and production manager Kevin Webber received the 10-year awards and driver Colin Andrewartha was given the 15-year award.
Simon Chenoweth, accounts manager at Falfish was rewarded for 25 years service, having joined the company in 1986, and the 30-year service awarded was given to fresh fish trading director Chris Southworth, who joined Falfish in 1981.
Mr Chenoweth said: "It's definitely a good thing to be recognised for the work you put in, I think it's very empowering for the staff. The way they chose to give the award partly as vouchers for the individual and partly as money to celebrate with your family was brilliant, and reflects the family-focussed ethos of the company."
As thanks to the long serving staff for their commitment to Falfish, each of the honoured employees received a personalised engraved lead crystal gift, high street shopping vouchers and a gift to go towards celebrating with family or loved ones.
Mark Greet said: "We recognise that the successful growth of the company is dependent on the efforts of our employees."
