DELABOLE firefighters raised over £500 at their annual car boot sale and fire station open evening.
The weather held off for the many car-booters who came along to support the event.
There were many games, including Smash the Crock and the Wheel of Fortune. The burger stall proved to be a popular choice, which kept the willing helpers busy. There were many prizes on offer in the large raffle, with much being donated by local traders in and around Delabole.
The Fire Fighters Charity station representative Mark Saltern said he was delighted with the amount raised and thanked all the helpers and all who supported the event.
