FIRST LESSON: Starting school can be a daunting time for both youngsters and their parents as they part ways for the first time. So one Newquay school invited mums and dads to have lunch with reception class pupils last week to help with the nerves. And judging by the big smiles in our photos, the idea proved a huge success as everyone happily tucked into their chicken and vegetables at The Bishops' School on Monday.
