A 10-year-old boy who went missing sparking a major police search in Newquay has been found safe and well.
The boy, who has not been named and is from the town, was playing football at Newquay's sports centre at around 3pm when he left on his own accord.
Newquay police mobilised all their resources in an attempt to find the boy, including a police helicopter. He was found in the town shortly before 7pm.
