FORMER Prime Minister Baroness Thatcher has died at 87 following a stroke, it has been confirmed.
The Iron Lady, who in 1973 opened the former Redruth Grammar School art block in her capacity as the Secretary of State for Education and Science, died this this morning.
Her spokesman, Lord Bell said she died peacefully.
Baroness Thatcher was Conservative Prime Minister from 1979 to 1990.
