The accident was cleared and the road reopened at 9.15am.
A police spokesman said the incident involved a horsebox and a lorry and no one was hurt.

Traffic is queuing on the A38 and the Saltash Tunnel is partially blocked following an accident involving two lorries.
The accident has caused queues in both directions at the junction with the B3271.
