Police are investigating a drug related incident in St Agnes that left a 26-year-old man in a crtical condition.
Detectives in St Agnes are appealing to the public to come forward with information on the incident, which happened on Saturday night.
Officers were called to a property in the north coast town at 9.23pm, following a report from the ambulance service who had responded to a 999 call.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said the man remains critically ill in hospital.
He said: "It appears to be a cocktail of drugs which has caused the young man to have a bad reaction."
