A COASTGUARD team from Polzeath is currently assisting a walker in the area.
She is thought to have injured her ankle.
Earlier this morning at 9.45am a lifeboat crew, also from Polzeath, leapt into action to help a windsurfer who got into difficulty in strong winds in the bay.
A spokesman for Falmouth Coastguard said: "The holidaymaker got safely ashore by the time the crew arrived.
"The crew then helped to collect his board and rig from the surf."
