Police are appealing for information after a haul of jewellery worth more than £4,500 was stolen from a Callington home in broad daylight.
More than 20 items, including several antique pieces, were taken from a property in Harrowbarrow on Monday June 4.
Police say the offenders broke into the house via the conservatory door between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.
Among the stolen items was a triple-stringed set of pearls, which are more than 80-years-old, two cameo brooches, a 1930 opal necklace containing a Hong Kong mark and a silver locket carrying a fleur de lys pattern.
Also taken were a set of Ciro pearls and a Ciro pearl choker, a man's gold pocket watch, a gold wedding band and a diamond engagement ring.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time of the burglary.
They would also like to hear about anyone who may have been trying to sell the items to individuals or businesses, including second hand shops and auction rooms.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference BD/13/326.
