Police said the death of a woman found in a car in St Austell last night was not being treated as suspicious.
Officers were called to the Hornick Hill area at 9.15pm after concern was expressed for a 47-year-old local woman.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "On arrival officers found the body of a woman in a car.
"There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances at this time."
The spokesman said that no further details would be given or confirmed about the woman, including her occupation.
