Alan Mitchell is stepping down as the Hon secretary of the Cornwall Rugby Football Union at the annual meeting on Friday June 28 after 13 years in the post.
A CRFU sttaement said: "Alan has been Hon Secretary since the year 2000, and the members of the CRFU management board wish to record their thanks to him for his input to county rugby over the years."
Denis Preece, CRFU Chairman, added that his colleagues wished Mr Mitchell well for the future, and were certain that his enthusiasm for the game of rugby in Cornwall would continue.
