THE COMPANY at the helm of Land's End Airport is holding a public viewing of proposed enhancements to facilities tomorrow evening.
The Isles of Scilly Steamship Company has invited neighbours, local businesses and interested parties to see plans of developments and find out more about the investments set to take place.
The open evening will see consultants The Sweett Group show drawings and ideas it has in place, such as runway improvements, as well as answer questions alongside airport staff.
Airport manager Chris Pearson said that having recently ploughed £1 million into the site, the team is keen to meet locals to discuss the airport's future and further prospects.
"We are keen to consult with local people on the next stage of enhancements at Land's End Airport and look forward to welcoming people on Wednesday."
The latest moves brought in by the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company include a new aircraft and a £2 million refit of the Scillionian III.
The team has said that around 50 new full-time and seasonal staff have been created as a result of investments.
Everyone is welcome to attend on Wednesday June 19 between 5 and 7.30pm in the main terminal building at Land's End Airport.
