TWO DOGS were rescued from a kitchen fire in Wadebridge earlier today.
Fire engines from Wadebridge, Bodmin and a wholetime officer attended reports of smoke billowing from a home in Kay Gardens at about 1.15pm.
Once on the scene, firefighters found the kitchen of the two-storey, semi-detached property ablaze.
Two dogs inside were rescue from the rear of the home by crew members who used four sets of breathing equipment and two jet hoses to tackle the flames.
An investigation is currently on-going into the cause of the fire.
