The Literary Lunch which will take place at two AA Rosette Bay Restaurant, Penzance on Sunday, July 21. Judy has written 17 highly successful novels and has a loyal following. Her first book Just for the Summer was inspired by a holiday spent watching locals and visitors "interacting" in a small Cornish village. In her latest book In the Summertime, she returns to those characters, Miranda and her mother Claire, and looks at how their lives, and the life of the small village they loved, have changed. Judy will talk about the inspiration that she always gets from being in, and thinking about Cornwall. She said: "I love writing in and about Cornwall. Just crossing the Tamar bridge into the county never fails to give my imagination a boost. "I feel lucky that my children live there so I'm never short of a reason to visit." Judy will be introduced by Penzance Litfest patron Patrick Gale, and there will be opportunity for questions.
